I love it when the UPS man pulls up my driveway in his big brown van, comes to my door and leaves sewing machine boxes. Unboxing the Pfaff Passport 2.0 sewing machine was a lot of fun especially when I found a box designed to looked like a suitcase under the cardboard box. I love to travel and this machine with its name and suitcase box is set and ready to go. The Passport 2.0 is compact and lightweight for great portability. The perfect machine for taking to class, retreats and the cottage as well as using in your sewing room at home.
Pfaff Passport 2.0
This little machine weighs in at a mere 13.9 lbs or 6.3 kg. It's 15 ½″ long, 11″ high and 7½″ wide. The throat space is 5 ¾″.
Carrying Case
A hard case makes transport easy and safe with a cut out for storage of the foot control. The handle on the sewing machine pops up through the cover and is wide and easy to grip for comfortable carrying. When the machine is not in use, use the cover to keep the dust off of it.
Accessories
The machine comes with everything you need for basic sewing - 6 different presser feet, two spool pins, bobbins, needles and more to make sewing a pleasure where ever you are.
Accessory Box
Store all of these accessories in this great little accessory case that slides onto the free arm of the sewing machine adding to the sewing space.
Extension Table For The Pfaff Passport 2.0
Remove the accessory case and replace it with an extension table to extend your sewing space. Using the table extends the sewing space by 8″ to the left of the machine. The rounded edge on both the table and accessory box make a perfect edge for the fabric to flow over as it feeds through the machine. And the extension table even comes in its own little carrying case - bonus!
Threading Area
The winding of the bobbin and threading of the machine is all accessible at the top of the machine making these two procedures virtually effortless.
Library Of Stitches
A library of 70 stitches found on a pull out card at the side of the machine gives a multitude of options for appliqué, decorative stitching, buttonholes, utility stitches and basic sewing.
The Pfaff Passport 2.0 Control Panel
The push button controls make it easy to change stitches - just punch in the numbers on the key pad that corresponds to the stitch. For example straight stitch is 01 which is also the default stitch when the machine turns on. Stitch number 03 is a zigzag. Stitch number 26 is a blanket stitch and so on. So quick and easy to change stitches on this little Passport 2.0.
After discovering all the great features this machine has to offer by reading the manual & feature brochure and with the unboxing of the Pfaff Passport 2.0 I am ready to do some sewing but I'll wait until tomorrow.
